Irma Debris Cleanup To Stretch Into November

Sarasota County contractors are working hard to finish collecting the debris scattered across yards throughout the city in September by Hurricane Irma, but the sheer volume of debris to collect is proving to be a truly challenging endeavor. More trucks will be joining the debris collection force next week in an effort to speed up collection, but even then, officials believe the collection will likely stretch on through November, upwards to two months after the historic storm passed over Sarasota.
