No Injuries Caused By Van Collision at Hob Nob

On the morning of Tuesday, October 24th, a white Dodge 3500 van accidentally crashed into one of the walls of the Hob Nob diner on the corner of 301 and 17th Street. Thankfully, neither the passengers of the van nor the occupants of the diner were seriously injured by the collision. The Hob Nob originally opened in 1957 and has been a landmark diner on Washington Boulevard for sixty years, cooking up burgers, dogs, fries, milkshakes, and more in what is now a charmingly retro style building. The diner installed concrete safety walls in 2013, which proved their worth Tuesday morning by preventing the van from crashing any further into the diner. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The diner has resumed operation after the incident.
