Here’s two new reports with some fresh facts to inform your future commercial real estate decisions!

First is Michael Saunders & Company’s Commercial Team’s first quarterly report of 2017. This report breaks down the recent state of Sarasota and Bradenton’s commercial real estate market into several vignettes, including a look into development projects in Downtown Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch, an increase in the demand for medical offices as baby boomers begin to retire more, and news that the prices for commercial and residential land plots continue to escalate along with their demand. Next is the newest City of Sarasota Downtown Real Estate Development in Progress report. This report, provided by Dru Jones and Dan Greenberg, is a guide to all of the many major real estate projects currently underway in Downtown Sarasota. It appears that no new projects have been added to the list this month, but many of the existing projects have had changes and updates since the last report which are highlighted in red text – for example, the BLVD Sarasota building will now feature a 7,327 SF restaurant, and the BOLD Lofts will now be five stories high.
