Matt Drews, a Sarasota native and former New York Yankee, has signed on with Michael Saunders & Co.as its new director of the commercial division! Drews, who was named “Pitcher of the Year” in 1995, played professionally for the Yankees from 1993 to 1996, then for the Detroit Tigers from 1996 to 2000. After retiring from professional sports, he and his wife Ellen returned to Sarasota to raise three children. Drews graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg and has earned several financial licenses.
